Course Date Offerings:

1. Monday, March 31 - Friday, April 4 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., daily. Registration deadline: Friday, March 21

2. Thursday, April 17 - Sunday, April 20. April 17 class is from 4 - 6 p.m. April 18 - 20 classes are from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Registration deadline is Thursday, April 10

Description: This course provides entry-level lifeguard candidates with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies. Candidates must be at least 15 years of age, able to swim for 150 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both, tread water for two minutes without hands, swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both, and complete a timed retrieval of an object in 7-10ft. depth of water. After succesful completion of this course, candidates will receive an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification that will be valid for two years.
